Why was pokemon created? An inspirational story in the form of a short story.

A story everyone should know. A story why was pokemon created?

Bugs were his only friends.

Satoshi Tajiri was a shy kid with autism. his only friends were the bugs he played with, in his yard.

The other kids teased him for it and called him Dr. Bug but Satoshi didn’t care and loved his bug friends. He spent hours collecting them in jars and watching them fight each other.

He wanted to be a bug scientist when he grew up. but as years went by, his home started to change and there was less and less space to play with his bug friends.

Lonely once again, Satoshi turned to video games. His grades dropped and he failed high school.

When Satoshi proudly announced that he wanted to make video games, his parents were shocked and worried about his future.

Still, Satoshi spent hours drawing characters and designing games on an old computer. The first few years were tough and Satoshi barely made ends meet.

Until one day a man spotted his sketches and decided to take a chance on young Satoshi.

That man was Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Super Mario. Satoshi’s dream had come true! but he didn’t feel any better slaving away night after night on games he didn’t like started to burn him out.

He questioned if this was what he wanted for his life.

Once on his lunch break, he spotted 2 kids playing on their Game boys.

His childhood came rushing back to him as he imagined bugs crawling along the cable between the Game Boys.

“What if they sent bugs to each other?” he thought.

It was a ridiculous idea. But one that reignited a long lost passion.

Satoshi got straight to work designing a game where kids could collect weird creatures just like he did except this time, instead of feeling lonely they could share the fun and trade with friends.

Pokemon was Born!

Satoshi based Ash on his younger self and drew inspiration for his Pokemon character from nature.

Since then it has gone onto become the highest grossing media franchise of all time with video games, cards, comics, TV series, and films.

Satoshi’s story reminds us to never lose our childlike curiosity.

When you’re a kid and get your first bike, you want to go somewhere you’ve never been before That’s like Pokemon. Everybody shares the same experience, but everybody wants to take it someplace else. And you can do that.”

What is Pikachu so popular?

Obviously, the fact that Pikachu is adorable is a contributing factor. but the main factor for Pikachu’s popularity is discussed by the creators themselves.

One of the main reasons Pikachu is so popular was the broadcast of the animated Pokémon TV series. Appearing in several episodes as the partner Pokémon to the main character Ash really helped in its popularity.

Pikachu captivated audiences with its bright yellow body and red cheeks, together with its “Pika!” cry.

Pikachu keeps on gaining popularity, appearing not only in the Pokémon TV series but in movies as well. Pikachu now shows up in a lot more places, such as appearing at events and on many Pokémon products.

Pikachu may be the mascot of Pokemon known now. But he wasn’t originally. The original face of Pokemon was a pink star, Clefairy. Ash had given a choice to Pikachu to evolve with the Thunder Stone after they lost to Lt. Surge’s Raichu, but Pikachu chose not to evolve because Pikachu wanted to prove that he could defeat stronger Pokémon without evolving. This makes him the first of Ash’s Pokémon to choose not to evolve.

Why Pikachu is always out of Pokeball?

Ash’s Pikachu in simple words doesn’t seem to like being in a Poké Ball. At several other points in the series as well, Ash’s Pikachu refuses to enter one. When Ash and Pikachu were not friends, Ash didn’t understand the reason but later Ash understands his feeling and carry him on his shoulder instead. and has (to my knowledge) only done so a couple of times, when severely damaged, hurt or threatened.
